Bulk Editing

Select more than one track group in the Tracks grid to enter a multi-selection workflow. The active selection is the source of truth for any available bulk action.

Use bulk actions safely

Section titled “Use bulk actions safely”
  1. Select only the track groups you intend to change.
  2. Open the Activity Panel widget or current action surface for the field you want to update.
  3. Review the selection-dependent confirmation or result state.
  4. Clear the selection before beginning an unrelated task.

Not every widget supports multi-selection. For example, the Todos widget only offers Add Todo for exactly one selected track; widgets can instead show a multi-selection warning or a no-selection prompt.

Bulk changes should never be assumed to apply to unselected rows, and a failed update should retain or restore the previous visible state.
