Songs & Track Groups
A track group is the song-level record used to organise related bounces, stems, project files, and their associated information. The display name is presentation data; the application uses a stable track-group ID when an import or update must target an existing group.
Local-first grouping
Section titled “Local-first grouping”Local import scans files first, then decides whether a high-confidence group can organise automatically or whether a file must remain unassigned for Files. It does not create a speculative group solely to show a possible match.
Working with a group
Section titled “Working with a group”Select a group in the Tracks grid to make its Activity Panel widgets available. From there, use the relevant widget for files, tags, due dates, collaborators, artwork, comments, or other supported information.
