Profile & Avatar
Your authenticated profile includes a name, optional bio, avatar, email, social-links data, and public contact-visibility preference.
Update your profile
Section titled “Update your profile”In the Profile settings, enter a name with at least two characters. Your bio is optional and may contain up to 500 characters. The update is saved to your authenticated profile; invalid values are rejected rather than partially saved.
Upload an avatar
Section titled “Upload an avatar”Upload an avatar as JPEG, PNG, or WebP. The maximum file size is 5 MiB. After a successful upload, The Library stores the new avatar URL with your profile.
Change your email
Section titled “Change your email”Choose Change email in Profile settings. The modal shows your current email as read-only context and accepts exactly one new address. Submitting it requests a verification email; it does not immediately replace the email shown in the app. The existing address remains visible until the verification link completes the change.
You can cancel the email-change modal without side effects. This flow is separate from connected Google identity linking.
