Notifications

Notifications keep you informed about what matters most in your production workflow. Whether you need to know the moment a collaborator leaves feedback or you want a reminder three days before a track is due, the Notifications settings let you stay in control.

This page lives within Settings, where you can also manage your profile, connected accounts, storage preferences, and billing. Each category is separate, so you can update your notification preferences without touching anything else.

To reach your notification preferences:

  1. Open Settings from the main navigation or user menu
  2. Select Notifications from the left sidebar
  3. The notification panel opens showing all available options

On smaller screens, the sidebar becomes a collapsible menu. Tap the menu button to reveal the list of sections, then select Notifications.

Your notification preferences are organized into categories that match different aspects of your workflow. Each category can be toggled on or off, and some include additional options for finer control.

These notifications inform you about changes to your tracks. You can receive alerts when:

  • A collaborator adds or edits a comment
  • A track’s stage changes (for example, moving from “Editing” to “Ready to Post”)
  • Artwork or metadata gets updated
  • A track is marked as published

As a producer, track activity notifications help you keep tabs on multiple songs without constantly checking each one manually. If you work with multiple artists or handle several projects at once, these alerts ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Stay informed about the people working with you:

  • New collaborator requests or invitations
  • Collaborator acceptance or removal from a track
  • Profile changes from your collaborators

These notifications are particularly useful when you’re managing a team of vocalists, mix engineers, or feature artists. You won’t miss when someone new joins a project or when responsibilities shift.

Never miss a deadline again:

  • Reminders before a track’s due date (choose 1, 3, or 7 days in advance)
  • Alerts when a track’s due date passes
  • Overdue notifications for tracks that need immediate attention

Setting reminders for your tracks keeps your release schedule on track. Many producers find it helpful to receive a three-day warning before a deadline, giving enough time to handle any last-minute revisions.

When projects or playlists change:

  • New tracks added to your projects
  • Buckets renamed or reorganized
  • Project-level announcements

Keep your account secure and up to date:

  • Security alerts (new sign-ins, password changes)
  • Account verification messages
  • Service announcements and maintenance notices

System notifications are typically enabled by default since they protect your account. You can adjust these, but it’s generally recommended to keep security alerts active.

  1. Navigate to SettingsNotifications
  2. Find the category you want to adjust
  3. Toggle the main switch to enable or disable all notifications in that category
  4. For categories with additional options, click the gear icon or expand the section to see granular controls
  5. Click Save Preferences when finished

Your changes take effect immediately. If you’re signed in on multiple devices, the preferences sync across all of them.

Sometimes you need uninterrupted focus time. Look for the Quiet Hours option at the bottom of the Notifications section if it’s available in your plan.

When Quiet Hours are active:

  • Non-critical notifications are held and delivered when the period ends
  • Urgent system alerts (like security notifications) still come through
  • You can set a recurring schedule for specific days

This is perfect for late-night mixing sessions when you don’t want your phone buzzing every time someone comments, or during important client calls when focus is essential.

You can choose to receive notifications in different ways depending on your preference:

  • In-app notifications appear within Producer Dashboard when you’re signed in
  • Email notifications are sent to your registered email address
  • Push notifications may be available on mobile devices (if supported)

To configure delivery methods:

  1. In the Notifications section, look for the Delivery or Channel toggle
  2. Choose Email, In-App, or Both
  3. Save your preference

If you’re managing a busy schedule, in-app notifications alone might be sufficient while you’re actively working in the app, with email summaries for times when you’re away.

For in-app notifications, you can customize:

  • Sound alerts — play a tone when new notifications arrive (toggle on or off)
  • Desktop badges — show unread count on the app icon in your taskbar
  • Activity feed — see a chronological list of all recent alerts

These visual and audio cues are especially helpful when you have multiple projects running simultaneously and need immediate awareness of activity across your entire catalog.

Not receiving notifications?

  • Check that the specific category is toggled on in your preferences
  • Verify your email address is correct in Profile settings
  • Check your spam or junk folder for email notifications
  • Ensure your browser or desktop app has notification permissions enabled
  • Try signing out and back in to refresh the notification connection

Receiving too many notifications?

  • Disable categories that don’t apply to your workflow
  • Enable Quiet Hours during your most productive times
  • Switch from real-time alerts to daily digest summaries
