Notifications
Notification preferences are stored with your account and are split into in-app and email categories.
In-app categories
Section titled “In-app categories”When a value has not been saved yet, these in-app categories start enabled:
- Comments
- Todos due
- Collaborators
- File changes
Optional email categories
Section titled “Optional email categories”The optional email categories are:
- Public-share comments
- Collaboration
- Billing
- System
- Marketing
Public-share comment email is enabled by default and covers comments made from public share pages. Marketing is disabled by default. Security and account emails remain required and cannot be turned off here.
Save preferences
Section titled “Save preferences”Toggle the optional categories you want, then save the complete preference set. If a key is missing, The Library uses the documented defaults rather than blocking Settings. If saving fails, the current page state stays visible and the app shows a preference-save error.
Bucket-activity cadence and per-event overrides are managed separately from these general notification categories.
