Notification Settings
Notification preferences are stored with your account under separate in-app and email settings.
In-app defaults
Section titled “In-app defaults”When no preference has been saved, these in-app categories start enabled:
- comments
- todos due
- collaborators
- file changes
Email defaults
Section titled “Email defaults”The email categories are comments, collaboration, billing, system, and marketing. Comments, collaboration, billing, and system start enabled when absent; marketing starts disabled.
The public-share comments email card is optional and starts enabled. It controls comments made from public share pages, not bucket-activity cadence. Security and account emails are required and cannot be turned off here.
Saving changes
Section titled “Saving changes”Save the full in-app and email preference object through Settings. Bucket-activity cadence and per-event overrides follow their own separate settings path.
