Adding Content

Your public page in The Library is built from the content you choose to showcase. Rather than manually uploading files or managing separate content, you select existing bucket sections and collaborators, then check the rendered result in owner preview.

Adding Bucket Sections

Buckets are the main building blocks of your public page. Each bucket you select becomes a section with the bucket’s name as its title. Visitors can browse through your sections to explore different collections of your work.

Selecting Buckets

Use the Settings > Public Page bucket selector to choose owned buckets. Its sellable-first flow excludes archived buckets, system buckets, and buckets with no sellable tracks.

The renderer applies bucket-section order before the public visibility cap. It shows no more than 10 tracks in total across all sections, so later sections can have no visible tracks if earlier ones consume the allowance.

Choosing Display Modes

Each bucket section can be displayed in one of two visual formats. You choose the display mode when adding or editing a bucket section.

Grid View

Grid view shows your tracks as square tiles arranged in a uniform grid. This works well for buckets with many tracks or when you want visitors to quickly scan through options. Artwork is prominent and consistent.

Cards View

Section titled “Cards View”

Cards view displays tracks as horizontal cards, similar to what you’d see on music streaming services. Each card shows larger artwork, the track name, and includes an embedded waveform player for instant playback. This format is ideal for showcasing finished productions where you want visitors to hear previews.

Save either grid or cards as the section’s display mode. A section title always uses the bucket name.

Adjusting Card Sizes

When using cards view, you can also control how large the cards appear. Three sizes are available:

  • Small — compact cards that show more tracks at once
  • Medium — balanced size with good artwork visibility (default)
  • Large — prominent cards with maximum artwork and waveform space

The card size setting applies to all card sections across your public page.

Limiting Tracks per Section

If a bucket contains many tracks, you can choose to display only a subset on your public page. This is useful when you want to feature your best recent work without overwhelming visitors.

Each saved bucket section can include an optional max_tracks value. The renderer applies each section’s limit, then applies the total 10-track cap across all sections in saved order.

Featuring Collaborators

Highlighting collaborators adds credibility and helps visitors discover other artists you work with. Featured collaborators appear in a dedicated section at the top of your public page with their name and avatar.

Save a collaborator list made of collaborators owned by the authenticated user. Each saved entry may set is_featured to highlight that collaborator in the renderer.

Previewing Your Content

As you build your public page, use a draft preview to inspect its rendered banner, accent color, sections, and track artwork before publishing.

For an unpublished page, preview opens a signed, time-limited render-only draft. It shows the current renderer output but disables visitor playback, checkout, contact, and other visitor actions.

[!TIP] A draft preview is render-only. Use it to review saved page data and the 10-track visible cap; visitor playback, checkout, and contact actions remain disabled.

Syncing with Your Profile

Remember that your public page pulls your artist name, bio, avatar, and social links directly from your profile settings. When you update your profile, your public page updates automatically.

This means you don’t edit your public page separately for basic information — keep your main profile current and your public page stays current too.
