Connecting Dropbox

Dropbox is optional. Connect it when you need Dropbox-backed share links, collaborator delivery, or shared-folder features. The local filesystem remains the authority for importing and organising your catalog.

Connect

Section titled “Connect”
  1. Open Settings → Connected Accounts.
  2. Choose Connect Dropbox.
  3. Complete Dropbox OAuth in the external browser and return to the app.
  4. Confirm the connected account and folder information in Settings.

The app never asks you to type your Dropbox password into The Library. OAuth grants only the configured Dropbox permissions.

What Dropbox does not do

Connecting Dropbox does not replace the local bounces, stems, projects, or tracks/ hierarchy. It is not required for local scanning, duplicate detection, grouping, playback, or project-file access.

If a token expires, reconnect from Settings. Disconnecting removes app access but does not delete files already stored in Dropbox.
